Who we are

This site (uxban.shop) is operated by Uxban, an independent music artist based in New Zealand. Any reference to "we", "us", or "our" means Uxban. Any reference to "you" means anyone using this website.

What we collect

We collect the minimum amount of information needed to run the site and to keep you updated:

• Email address — when you subscribe to the mailing list, submit the contact form, or sign up for merch drop alerts
• Purchase details — when you buy physical merch, handled entirely by Stripe (we never see or store your card details)
• Shipping address — when you place an order, so we can send you the item
• Basic analytics — anonymised page views and referrers via Vercel Analytics

How we use it

• Send you updates about new releases, shows, and merch — only if you explicitly subscribed
• Reply to messages you send through the contact form
• Ship physical orders to the address you provided
• Understand which pages are being used so we can improve the site

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with advertisers or third-party data brokers. Ever.

Third-party services

The site relies on a small number of trusted services to function:

• Vercel — hosting and analytics
• Stripe — payment processing for merch orders
• Resend — sending transactional and newsletter emails
• Google Sheets — storing the subscriber list (private, only accessible to us)
• Apple iTunes API and Genius — public metadata for release info and descriptions
• Too.fm — pre-save and streaming link routing

Each of these services has its own privacy policy that governs how they handle data.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Ask what data we hold about you
• Request a copy of that data
• Request that we delete it
• Unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time (a link is at the bottom of every email)

Cookies & storage

We use minimal browser storage to remember things like which release previews you've unlocked and whether you've dismissed the site banner. This information stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.

Vercel and Stripe may set cookies for analytics and payment processing respectively. You can block cookies in your browser settings, though this may break parts of the store.

Merchandise & orders

• All prices are shown in your local currency at checkout based on your location
• Shipping is calculated based on your country and the items in your cart
• Orders are fulfilled by third-party suppliers and typically ship within 5–14 business days
• Returns and exchanges are handled case by case — email us and we'll sort it

Content & copyright

All music, lyrics, artwork, photography, and written content on this site is the property of Uxban unless otherwise credited. You may share links and quote short excerpts with credit. You may not republish full songs, full lyrics, or full articles without permission.

Changes to this policy

If anything changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change too. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the current version.
